& Lab Research Support Policy

Manifesto: Our Vision

dWebXR Lab is an open-source research collective dedicated to the intersection of AI Agents, Web3 Infrastructure, and the Open Metaverse.

We believe that the true potential of decentralized technology lies in Utility, not speculation. Our mission is to build autonomous systems that provide real value to users through functional code and immersive experiences.

To ensure long-term sustainability and regulatory compliance, we operate under a strict separation between Technical Research (The Lab) and Commercial Operations (The Company).

Lab Research Support Policy

This policy outlines how CipherWeb LLC (the "Company") supports the dWebXR Lab (the "Lab") and its community-driven open-source research.

Last updated: 2026-01-14

1. Infrastructure Support (Direct Provision)

To ensure the stability of our research, CipherWeb LLC directly provides and maintains the necessary infrastructure for the Lab's experiments.

  • Cloud Computing & Hosting: Direct payment and management of server resources (e.g., Railway, AWS, GCP).
  • API Access: Provision of necessary API keys and credits for LLMs and blockchain indexing.
  • Development Tooling: Maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and security auditing tools.
Note: CipherWeb LLC pays these service providers directly. No funds are distributed to individuals for token-related activities.

2. Strict Separation of Interests & No-Selling Policy

To maintain the integrity of our research, CipherWeb LLC and the Lab adhere to the following "Hard Lines":

  • No Token Ownership: CipherWeb LLC does not acquire, hold, or manage any tokens issued by individual community members.
  • Strict No-Selling Policy: Any tokens issued by individuals (including company officers) for experimental purposes are not for profit. The issuers pledge not to sell these utility tokens on the market.
  • No Financial Promotion: We do not provide purchase instructions, trading links, or marketing support for any experimental tokens.
  • No Market Involvement: We do not participate in liquidity provision, buybacks, or any activity intended to influence token prices.

3. Research vs. Commercial Services

We distinguish between our research activities and our commercial operations:

Research (The Lab) Commercial (The Company)
Purpose Open-source experimentation Autonomous agent services
Examples elizaOS modifications Usage-based agent services
Funding R&D by CipherWeb LLC x402 protocol payments (JPYC/USDC)

4. Community Experimentation & Utility Examples

We recognize that community members may independently create experimental utility tokens to test access control or coordination logic.

  • Example (Coo World): In our Hyperfy-based metaverse, build permissions are granted to utility token holders, with the AI agent "Coo" acting as an in-world guide.
  • These are independent experiments and are not products of CipherWeb LLC.
  • Any technical reference to these tokens (e.g., Contract Addresses) in our documentation is for verification and scam prevention only.

5. Compliance and Ethics

CipherWeb LLC operates within the legal frameworks of Japan and global standards. We reserve the right to terminate infrastructure support for any experiment that:

  1. Promotes speculative "get-rich-quick" schemes.
  2. Misrepresents affiliation with CipherWeb LLC for financial gain.
  3. Violates our safety or ethical guidelines for AI development.
